Doing God's Work

Hospitals, churches and houses around the world have little plastic figurines of Jesus crucified on a cross. There are factories producing these; they are probably automated now but before automation somebody was putting these together by hand. Imagine your job was to crucify Jesus. How would you measure a good day?

Plastic Jesus Cross
On a productive day a skilled worker could probably hammer a tiny nail every 10 seconds. One in each hand and one into the feet, or 30 seconds. Add another 30 seconds transition between each Jesus and you could crucify 1 per minute, 60 per hour. If you can maintain that pace for an 8 hour shift you could crucify Jesus almost 500 times per day!
